Mall of America – One of the tallest malls in the world is in Bloomington, Minnesota. Mall of America is a global retail center design and construction firm which was established in 1974. Located in Bloomington, the mall features over 500 shops, restaurants, clubs, and amusement rides. Norm Ebenstein is the president and chief executive officer of Mall of America and has served as its president and chief operating officer since its inception.

Xerox – One of the most well-known corporations in the U.S. is Xerox. The company was founded by Frank W. Kendall, who was given the responsibility of revamping the company’s manufacturing and distribution facilities. After a highly successful period of growth, the corporation was sold to investor Warren Buffet. At the time of sale, Xerox had more than twelve thousand stores across the United States. Alcoa – This manufacturer of aluminum manufacturing uses high quality steel in a variety of products such as windmills, generators, flooring products, and metal fabrication. Their Alcoa gas station was the tallest building in Alaska until 2021. They are also famous for the Alcoa III and Alcoa VI spires, which are the tallest spires in the world. Alcoa has many locations in North America, Europe, and Asia. Their center design concept incorporates sustainable building construction, and Alcoa offers a full range of services for commercial, residential, industrial, and recreational facilities.

Lehigh University – This historic institution of higher learning offers a great selection of online degree programs. Their center design concept incorporates an updated vision of campus life, with a focus on presenting students with hands-on real life experiences related to their chosen profession. Lehigh University is one of the most respected colleges within the Christian education sector. Their mission is to promote unity in design, production, and sales of commercial buildings. They provide their members with a multitude of opportunities to expand their businesses and improve their operations at every level. They also develop partnerships with other trade associations throughout the country to ensure that their members remain at the forefront of their industry’s advancements.

These are just a few of the many center design concepts currently being utilized by some of today’s most successful corporations. Center designs can be anything from an office to a retail center, and they can be built on or off the ground. A retail center is typically open all day, seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Retail centers offer a variety of goods such as food, retail space, a place to work, and other amenities. They are a huge source of revenue for their respective companies, and play an integral part in making or breaking a company.
