“I’ve lived in Boca Raton my entire life and living here means being a voter. There are a lot of things to do in Boca Raton. The weather is perfect year round. It never rains more than two or three days in a month, and that’s great for families with kids. There are always plenty of activities for families. There’s also a good selection of restaurants.”

“We have a very successful real estate development in our town,” continues Doug. “But we need the support of the local government to be able to expand our projects. Boca Raton is definitely a place where I would want to be a voter. This is my fifth community in the Palm Beach County area, and I am extremely proud of all that we have done so far.” He proudly shows off his real estate development, noting that it is second in size only to Boca Raton downtown.

“I have lived in other parts of Palm Beach County and know that when the recession hits, there’s no room for people in the local real estate market. That’s why I’m a registered voter. I want local government to fix this problem. I also want my tax dollars to stay local, and that means everyone has the same opportunities. I believe in community development and fair tax treatment.”

Noting that Boca Raton is home to some of the finest dining, shopping, and entertainment in the county, resident Jerry notes, “When the tourists come, they like to stay at the luxurious Boca Raton resorts. That’s what makes my community so great. All of those affluent people support my community. I wouldn’t be a good voter if I didn’t think my neighbors were nice. In fact, the more I know about politics and local government, the more I am willing to do everything possible to vote the way I want.”

Because of the wonderful leaders, many new businesses have been created, and the hard-working citizens who make up my community, I feel really proud of my elected officials.”

Vibrant and active in her communities as she is in her own home, a voter in Boca Raton Florida is very vocal. She knows the importance of education, affordable health care, affordable housing, and the concerns of many different kinds of voters. “I am a very organized person. My husband is very much against big government. So when I get something done, I am very vocal about it.”

Joann also wants to see more safety in her neighborhoods. “I am not the only one worried about that. We have many older homes that are well looked after. But there are some wonderful new homes that are being built. The developers come in and build these homes and then they don’t keep the maintenance up on them like the older neighborhoods.”

The voter in Boca Raton Florida really believes in herself and what she believes in. “People in other states are not so sure about themselves.
