The formula worked!

The PTFA  purchased a 12 month license to screen films.
The small hall was ideal with  a laptop connected  to a data projector and the school PA system.

Pupils pre-ordered a fish and chip supper for the interval  which was part of the ticket price supplied by the C and  C chip shop in the village.

The pupils were very well behaved and the team received a few pupil "thank you’s"  for organising the event.

The evening certainly was according to Y3 and Y4 pupils.

Many thanks to the PTFA. I am still trying to remember who, on the committee, had this brainwave.
