To give the pupils in year 2 an opportunity to get to know the children they will be sharing classes with in September, and to give them a feel for their new surroundings, they have been sharing reading sessions.

A shared interest

The year 2 pupils will also play on the junior playground each week and attend the key stage 2 assemblies. At the end of term they will have a shared craft session to produce something to brighten the walls of their new classrooms.
