Almost all DVD's have been sold - last few remaining available from the school office for £10.

All remaining photos are on display in the school entrance - please help yourself to any unclaimed photos, 50p each.

THE LIBRARY FUND RAISING

Thanks to the generous efforts of parents and the community in Cheslyn Hay, we are pleased to report that the school library has been replenished with new books. Over £1500 has been spent on books over the last couple of years. The book sponsorship scheme will continue so if any children would like to sponsor a book for £5, please contact the school office.

Our ambition now is to refurbish the library itself to make it a more welcoming and modern place to learn - we want to replace outdated furniture, bookshelves, decoration, etc. We have allocated £4K to complete this work and the staff are currently investigating the best way to carry out the "make-over".

2005-6 FUND RAISING

The staff have given us a "wish list" of items that they would like to PTFA to fundraise for - this includes new video/DVD equipment, digital cameras and a camcorder and other audio-visual equipment, plus microphones for school productions. The school council has also been asked to come up with other ideas - now it's your turn.

Do YOU have any suggestions that the PTFA could consider for fundraising for the rest of this year and into 2006? If you have any ideas, please drop a note into school or come to our next meeting.

NEXT PTFA MEETING

The next PTFA meeting is scheduled for Monday 21st March at 7pm in the school staff room. If you have any ideas for unusual fund raising activities, we would love to see you there!!
