Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new school year at Cheslyn Hay Primary School. We hope you have all had a good summer and we are pleased with the enthusiasm with which the children have returned to school – all looking very smart in their school uniforms. Thank you for labelling children’s clothes, it makes it so much easier to return lost property.
So that you can plan ahead here is our school calendar for the year. If there are any changes to these arrangements we will notify you as soon as possible.

May we remind you that some of our pupils have a nut allergy. This can be life threatening to those pupils affected. Therefore we ask all pupils and staff not to bring any products containing nuts into school or on school trips. The staff are undergoing training this month on how to administer emergency treatment. The school canteen is very careful to ensure there are no nut products served to pupils.
As we are sure you are all aware it is a Staffordshire regulation that all premises are ‘No Smoking’ and no dogs are permitted on any part of the school site. Thank you for your cooperation with these matters.
Finally, Mr Tibbetts will not be returning to school for the foreseeable future and therefore we will be continuing to administer the day to day running of the school in his absence, with support form the Local Education Authority.
