Postscript from the Headteacher to Sarah’s report. The site is secure and set up by our High School technicians. The High School have been running this system for a couple of years. As an AOL user I have found that I have to return to the main page to access another folder from school which is a bit frustrating. I had hoped to click on an additional folder having closed down the last one. The system does work and means pupils with domestic access can develop work stored on the school network at home. Similarly, staff can send their lesson plans directly to their document folders at school and no longer needing memory sticks to transfer lessons planned at home to school. The lesson can be brought up the next day from the teacher’s file on the interactive whiteboard. I am sure my teaching staff will find other imaginative potential for the new system. Many thanks to Sarah for her comprehensive report and instructions. The KON team trialled it in school today. Martin Tibbetts
