Student Debbie Hunstone takes the school
Debbie and pupils clearing up the "Small Quad"
An amazing piece of work by Y2 A close up shot of the mosaic The very heavy mosaic needs to be displayed in school. It can't be wall mounted. "Don't worry Mr Tibbetts", she said. "I have already spoken to a parent who can provide a Perspex mount"!
Plaster of paris sculptures in creation

Pupils hugely enjoying the project The sculptures will be varnished and become permanent features of the "Small Quad" which has an open door from the art room. Debbie and I both agreed that the "Small Quad" should become a teaching area and part of the dedicated art room. She has, however, challenged the school cleaning staff ! And I have teased her about knowing where she last worked with pupils. She has done some superb work with our pupils and she should be congratulated for that. Whilst showing more prospective parents around school , I noticed some very large upturned flower pots in the small quad. All half painted in a variety of colours. Debbie strikes again! Don't worry Debbie "No mess - no pupil gain!" I am sure all parents, who have heard about "Miss Hunstone" from their children will have heard nothing other than excitement about the projects their children are involved with. With Debbie's enthusiasm, imagination and support they have created some spectacular art work.
