Cheslyn Hay Primary School

Cheslyn Hay Go Chinese!

It’s the year of the horse.

The Foundation Years are very good at studying other faiths. They re-created Divali before Christmas . Produced a super Christmas play for parents which was embedded in the Christian Faith. They quickly moved back to the Christian faith which resulted in a lovely Christmas production last term.

This term they have studied the Chinese New Year which is the year of the horse!

Today they celebrated, a tag late, Chinese New Year and the whole school responded accordingly by dressing Chinese for the day.

The school canteen did special Chinese menu’s for lunch and the local press snapped the occasion! (Check out the Express and Star and Chronicle)

As ever the pictures tell the story.
