| As part of the "5 School 'RATS' project "raising pupil achievement through sport" , the five schools taking part have made Basketball the first focus fronted by a National team of Basketball Players - the Birmingham Basketball Bulletts.
Sophie Cooper and Leanne Lockett from the School Knock out News Team are the new school reporters writing a weekly column for the Cannock Chronicle.
"Cheslyn Hay went to a fun day of Sports at the Aldersley Stadium and put into mixed teams with Springvale Primary School, St Luke's Primary School, St John's Primary School and Whitgreave Primary School.
We got split up into different groups of red, white, black yellow and green.
We took part in cricket, relays, tug-of war, obstacle courses and tag rugby
Two players from the Birmingham
Basketball Bulletts basketball team gave a demonstration of their skills.
They will coach our Y6 pupils in all the five "RATS" schools in October.
