This is the ex Vine Pub where Mrs Chave was born in Walkmill Lane, Bridgetown. Now called Vine House and now "To let"

Mrs Chave has been here for a very long time and now she will be retiring at Christmas. Mrs Parry also left in the summer when Mr Tibbetts was away. Mrs Parry hadn't been working quite as long as Mrs Chave but she retired all the same.

Mrs Chave has only worked in two places all her life. The first was a factory across the Walkmill Lane pub which now looks like this:

We have now got to find a new Secretary and Mr Tibbetts has put an advert in the paper and the interviews are going to be next week.

Mrs Chave has been great to the school and she will be greatly missed by all the staff and pupils. The school will have an assembly for Mrs Chave and she will be given the biggest bunch of flowers you can think of. The school staff are taking her out for a meal at the end of term.
