This is our second report to the Cannock Chronicle written by the school "Knock out News" Team (KON) who write articles every day to go on the school website School Heating After a week off for half term we had an extra three days because of a heating problem. Workman from Heatelec had to change many of the pipes. This took a whole week. After that being done we had another big problem. The boiler was getting hotter but there was no heat getting into the school. We then found out that the pipes were full of air So we spent a couple of days bleeding all the air out of the pipes. Even on the Thursday we came back, workmen were still bleeding the pipes for air locks. George Cater George Cater is only in Y2 (aged 7). And yet he has played in about five matches ,along with his friends, in the Wryley Juniors football tournament over half term. Cheslyn Hay Primary School infants won the competition. Anyway George Cater scored eleven goals which got us in first place. We won the cup, a trophy, FA medals and £100 for sports equipment in school. We have got high hopes for George played with people twice as big as him in the Y5/6 team practice today. He scored a goal. He may have a place in the school Y5/Y6 squad at the next match against a Wolverhampton School. Readathon The whole school and their parents are going to read their way around the world over the next month. We have been given charts by our teachers and when we have read a book we go to the next country. On Friday the whole school is going to dress as a character out of a book including our teachers. Friday is the big launch day.
