The match was finely balanced with a few attempts on both goals before half time. Miss Ward took the teams in cars with parents Mrs Beck and Mrs Wilkes.

With Mr Tibbetts, the team coach, being out of school on a "Whiteboard Training Day", the half time talk was given by Mr Beck and Mr Tonkinson and what a difference that made!

Aaron Wilkes played superbly in the second half but Scott took the "man of the match" award.

The winning goal came from James Perrin .
