About two weeks ago children reported finding an injured pigeon on the playground.

It was reported to Mr Tibbetts who put in a box at lunchtime. He gave it some water and phoned the R.S.P.C.A.

When they arrived at 5.0pm the bird had gone into shock the man said it would not survive the journey.

So the bird was put to sleep by gas in the van.
