The "fruit girls" who discovered the mouldy fruit!

On Wednesday 22nd February 2003

Cheslyn Hay primary school found some mouldy fruit has been found green and so Mr Tibbetts,the headteacher at Cheslyn Primary school complained about the fruit that he found mouldy so he sent an email to the fruit company that was as unpleasant as the "oranges" which we now call "greens"!

And they sent one back saying the fruit, as been very weak and susceptible deterioration. "We have implemented many changes in regards to the management of fruit from harvest point to distribution point correct storage and cool chain is most vital part of the main and strict criteria is laid out and adhered to"

And so on but it just can’t carry on.

The free fruit scheme is supposed to help kids become healthy, not give them food poisoning!
