Pete Lewis of Cheslyn Hay had a serious car crash at 10:30 on the 17th of April 2001.Pete Lewis was driving down Wolverhampton road when his car slipped on the wet road and hit the lampost on the left. The car then rolled over onto the top and was spinning on the island and released the air bag which knocked him out.He was then threw out of his car window because of all the force.The passenger was trapped inside the car but only came out of hospital with a broken nose and a few cuts and bruises.But Pete was in hospital for ten days before he could be released because he had a broken leg and had to have pins in it now.

One year later he has made a full recovery but does not remember a thing.
