On Tuesday 11^th September 2001 four hijacked planes crashed into American landmarks. Hijacker 1 crashed into one of the twin world trade centers shortly followed by hijacker 2 crashing into the same world trade center. Hijacker 3 crashed into the other world trade center and another hijacker crashed into the pentagon in Washington . When the twin world trade centers tumbled to the ground about 1500-3000 people were working in the smallest world trade center and up to 500-600 people working in the tallest world trade center. The tallest trade center went down first. When they were starting to go down one fireman jumped out of the building and about five people followed. When they fully went down there were some people under the rubble using mobiles,e-mails and fax to get in touch with people to say they were still alive. Three firemen survived and some people did survive as well about 6000 people died in New York.

In Washington the Pentagon was crashed into also!

Obviously there are now several important considerations as terrorists stunned the world with their attack on America which brought much sadness, fear and financial implications for the people of America.

On Saturday 15^th September 2001 the mayor of New York held a funeral for a fireman.

The world trade center had seven Towers. Two of which were among the world`s largest skyscrapers
