Mobile Destruction to make way for
proposed new High School Block plans

Mr. Ailing, the headteacher of Cheslyn Hay High School, wants to get permission to build a new block. In it they want a new Science lab and other classrooms. The reason for building a new block {if they do} is that they need more space because there are over 1400 children in the school. They say they will start building it in September 2002 and it will take one year to build it. There is a debate whether to build the block, (because it would cost a lot of money to build) , where to build it and what to build it for.

Should the new building be on the field for the cricket nets?

Science needs a storage area for chemicals and equipment.
That takes up more space.
Should the new block be for science?

Should the old art mobile classroom be
demolished for the new block?
This is probably where it will be built.

The only new thing about this science room is the £8000 "Super Sucker" which stops pupils breathing in dangerous chemicals. The room is very old and the new block could solve the problem.
