UFO’s THE REAL TRUTH OR WHATS BEHIND THEM |

I’m Lucy Jennings and it’s my job to find out if the UFO sightings are real or hoaxes. I will be reporting on events in and around Cannock Chase and Cheslyn Hay plus the latest sightings in England. Unfortunately, not many get reported. In fact 90-95% of sightings are easily explained by atmospheric phenomena, top secret spacecraft or space debris. But still there is a minority that can’t be explained! FLYING TRIANGLES OF THE CHASE! First of all there are people who believe that all UFO sightings are top secret spacecraft of some sort. But on the other hand there are some people who believe they exist to some extent, and I am one of them! The Chase Post files have a whole host of such reports filed by witnesses throughout the Cannock area. However, there is one case in particular that stands out more than any other. It started in March 1993 and was the most notable of all because it attracted keen attention of none other than the governmental department of the Ministry of Defense! Between 1991and 1994, Nick Pope investigated UFO sightings for the MoD and in 1996 wrote a best -selling book about his time as the ministry’s official UFO investigator. He told us a remarkable story concerning an encounter with one of the Triangles, reported by a family that lived near the chase. According to Nick, "there had been a family gathering and several members where out on the drive saying goodbye. Suddenly, this large triangular – shaped craft flew over them very, very slowly; this was a flat triangle with a light in each corner and a larger light in the direct centre of the underside’’. Pope continued: "they also reported a low-frequency humming sound coming from the UFO; a humming that they described as quite unpleasant.
