The Early Years "Teddy bear Picnic" was not thwarted by the weather. Despite the planned outdoor event, (with bouncy castles , activities and picnic,) competing against autumnal weather, Sue Ashley re-staged the event indoors. It worked and was a resounding success with parents and Foundation Years youngsters being the envy of the upper school! "Please Sir", said several Y6 kids, "Can we have a go on the bouncy castle in the Small Hall!? A resounding NO came from the spoil-sport Headteacher. It was a celebration for our Foundation Years Unit and the youngsters parents. The unit has grown from strength to strength under the direction of Sue Ashley and won praise from the Local Education Authority after 2 visits to the unit by local inspectors. Are you surprised? Im not!
