Foundation Years get local Church to Explain Baptism as part of their Growth Topic

Church explains Baptism

The Rev John Tranter aids and abets!

OK you plant things in pots and watch them grow. Foundation Years have done that.

They are all experts on beans! They love beans on toast which they made. (Language work "sequencing"!)

We all grow and that "growth" means significant events in our lives.

The children have already made "Baby Books" to present to the play corner clinic.

A baby needs a name. All the pupils have dolls with new names.

As part of the RE syllabus they have had first hand experience of what baptism means . They have done that through role play, but the icing on the cake was having a real clergyman take the youngsters through a real service of baptism.

That happened today with a baptism of twin dolls and the whole group dressed accordingly.
