As a fun end to our water topic we had
a ‘Pirate Party’! We all dressed up -

Mrs Burford made some fabulous cakes

We made some ‘One Eyed Flapjack’

We ‘Danced on the Deck’

We played ‘Pass the Cannon Ball’

And ‘Sharks’

Then back to class for pirate jam sandwiches, seashell crisps, one eyed flapjack, rum and blackcurrant (without the rum!) and deep-sea jelly.

We had a great day. Thank you to staff and children for making it so enjoyable and to parents for providing wonderful costumes.
