Foundation Year pupils and staff star yet again

Miss Ryder asked her Head teacher to borrow a Snowman from the Hollybush Garden Centre who help finance our school website.

She then had second thoughts and made one of her own , using "mod-rock" which has Velcro and moveable parts which can be used in Junior and Infant School productions as well as in Foundation Year's classrooms with a Christmas theme.

Foundation Years had a Divali party on Friday 3rd December as part of the School's multicultural outreach. Above - Miss Ryder and pupils dressed accordingly

When OFSTED last visited school, they were impressed about much that the school does in its curriculum and beyond, but felt we should engage our pupils more with other faiths, beliefs as our country is a multi-ethnic ,multifaith nation.

Thus the whole school "Indian week"! Thus "Divali "which the Foundation classes have done for the last three years

Many thanks to Mrs Britton and her team for this dimension to our pupils' curriculum. It doesn't happen overnight and requires a huge amount of staff preparation and parental support.
