Archery on Day 4

Yesterday evening there was slight change of duty staff with Mrs Flynn arriving to spend Tuesday night and Wednesday at camp and Mrs White returning to school for the rest of the week.

The only noise on the campsite at 7.20 a.m on Thursday morning was the sound of rain hitting canvas. Those campers who had remembered to take their waterproofs to their tents were spared an early cold shower while crossing the field to the bathrooms as the breakfast bell rang at 7.30 a.m.

Year 5 were spared their morning duties as they prepared for their Kinver Edge trip. An early decision was made to move archery indoors due to the weather which cleared to give way to sunshine by mid-morning.

Archery took place in the dining hall which was cleared for the event.

It was the turns of groups G,H and I to fire real arrows at the 4 targets erected at the end of the hall.
