Friday – Laches Wood

Tidying and packing started before a continental breakfast, and was completed by 9.30am – a Coven record. Every group had an exciting activity that they had been looking forward to: archery, pond studies (shark hunting) and Search and Rescue.

A roast chicken dinner followed by arctic roll, rice pudding, scones, jam and cream or fresh fruit (another Coven record – some people managed three puddings!) and then it was time for hearing the results of all the competitions that had been run during the week and loading the coach ready to return to Cheslyn Hay.

An excellent week – everyone had tried new things, learnt a lot and gained independence.
