Laches Wood, Coven Diary 1

We will try to send a brief daily diary to give you a flavour of what we are up to at Coven. (The children have sent postcards from Coven and that they will be sent home via siblings or in the School Office awaiting collection.

Archery in progress

Following a very wet Sunday night and a blustery morning we decided that dormitories may provide a warmer week. The coach arrived in good time and we climbed aboard, complete with luggage eager for the week ahead. Having settled into dormitories and had a tour of the site we settled\down to a lunch of burgers, salad and cookies. Our afternoon activities of  Search and Rescue, archery and ‘Shark Hunting’ were all really different and interesting.

Pupil notes:
When we got to Laches Wood we went to see our rooms. Miss Flynn talked to us about bedroom rules. We made our beds and got our sleeping bag out. Then we went to the hall where we went in our group. We ordered our meals for Tea and sandwiches for Thursday. Then we unpacked, after that L, M, N went to do some archery.

Teams L ,M ,N, did archery. It was really fun .We had a practice and then we did a competition all of the teams did really well! My highest score for me is 20.Ellie’s is 22. Once we hade finished we went to the field for free time. I enjoy it here.
