Biscuits, Speed Project, This is a round up of some of the things 5C have been doing during the autumn term. After writing instructions for making biscuits, the children had to make them, design and make packaging for them and write a leaflet advertising them.
Tudor homework Children were asked to complete a piece of homework about the Tudors; they could choose what to do. We were treated to jumbles, bread, pumpkin pie – thanks to parents for their help! An amazing range of projects were handed in – from fact files, to timelines, model ships and houses.
Last half-term’s project was space – more photos to follow!
As part of their geography unit, 5C carried out speed tests on Saredon Road. They timed vehicles over 50m and then calculated the speed they travelled. Children also had the opportunity to use a speed gun – thanks to the Safety Camera Partnership.
Thanks to all the parents who braved the rain to help out.
