Year 5 & 6 Christmas Activity Afternoon
The children in years 5 & 6 had a choice of four different activities for the afternoon: party games, a snowman drive (the winter version of a beetle drive!), table games and an Egg Challenge. The Egg Challenge with Mrs Kemp proved most difficult as each team were provided with a few basics such as paper, sticky tape and string to create a way of protecting an egg dropped from the top of a ladder.
The girls wonder if their parachute will slow the egg’s descent sufficiently.
The party games provided a challenge of a different sort:
How can the sweets be obtained from under the chair without being swiped with a rolled up newspaper if you have to carry a jangling bell? A good time was had by all.
